Dealing with bigotry accusations Tory style: Purge your accusers!

In 2016 Zac Goldsmith ran a despicable anti-Muslim fearmongering operation during his campaign to become Mayor of London. This campaign included several high profile Tories hiding behind parliamentary privilege to smear an innocent man as a terrorism supporter, and culminated in an absolutely despicable BNP-style propaganda piece designed to associate his Muslim rival Sadiq Khan with the 5/5 London terrorist attacks.

This bigoted Tory anti-Muslim campaign went right to the top of the Tory party, and it's being cited as one of many examples in calls for an inquiry into Tory anti-Muslim bigotry.

One of the leading figures calling for an investigation into Tory anti-Muslim bigotry is the Tory peer Mohamed Sheikh.

It hardly seems like a coincidence that Zac Goldsmith has taken to Twitter to call for Sheikh's immediate expulsion from the Tory party for having attended the same peace conference in Tunisia that Jeremy Corbyn is being smeared over.

Aside from the fact that he's calling for one of his main accusers to be expelled from the party, Goldsmith's choice of source is very telling indeed. It's widely known that the Guido Fawkes comments section is an absolute cesspit of bigotry and abuse, including an awful lot of anti-Muslim hate.

Imagine the kind of person who would actually share a link to one of the most vile anti-Muslim hate chambers on the Internet in order to call for the expulsion of a Muslim man who is calling for an inquiry into anti-Muslim bigotry that would certainly end up investigating their own anti-Muslim hatemongering. That person is Zac Goldsmith.

If Zac Goldsmith and his chums at the top of the Tory party succeed in purging one of the only senior Tory voices who dares complain about anti-Muslim bigotry in the Tory ranks in order to avoid an internal party investigation into their own actions, then we'll have absolute proof that anti-Muslim bigotry isn't just accepted within the Tory party, but that the party actually closes ranks to protect the perpetrators.

Whether you think Jeremy Corbyn is doing a good enough job of handling the Labour anti-Semitism row or not, there's no denying that he's publicly criticised anti-Jewish bigotry on numerous occasions, and that the party has sped up the disciplinary process when it comes to allegations of anti-Semitism.

What the Tories have done is completely the opposite. Theresa May has been stonewalling calls for an investigation into Tory anti-Muslim bigotry for months, and now we've got the disgusting spectacle of one of the worst offenders of all actually seeking the immediate expulsion of one of his accusers!

Don't expect to hear anything about Zac Goldsmith's desperate and transparent efforts to purge one of his accusers from the party, because it simply doesn't chime with the primary objective of attacking Jeremy Corbyn in order to defend the four decade long neoliberal orthodoxy that most mainstream media hacks have done very nicely out of indeed (while millions of others have paid the price of it).

Just imagine the furious reaction if Jeremy Corbyn had spent months denying anti-Semitism and stonewalling calls for an investigation, then a hypothetical senior Labour MP who cynically capitalised on anti-Jewish bigotry in an election campaign actually demands that one of his Jewish accusers is expelled from the party.

There'd be an unprecedented shit-storm of condemnation (and rightly so), but somehow, because it's Theresa May, bigoted Zac Goldsmith, and the Tory party, there's hardly even a whisper about it in the mainstream media.

The Tories are actually trying to spin their anti-Muslim bigotry scandal as a vote winner!

After the Muslim Council of Britain and several senior Conservatives demanded an investigation into anti-Muslim prejudice in the Tory party, many on the left have been quick to point out the tiny flicker of mainstream media coverage on the issue in relation to the massive Labour anti-Semitism furore before the local elections.

The discrepancy in coverage is obvious, but it should come as no surprise at all given the relentless pro-Tory anti-Corbyn bias that not only dominates the print media, but also thrives on the supposedly neutral BBC too.

The allegations of widespread Islamophobia in the Tory ranks and specific accusations of anti-Muslim discrimination against Michael Gove and the Tory leadership should surely be getting more media coverage, but the reason these stories aren't getting much traction are obvious.

Of course mainstream media journalists don't want to scrutinise Tory Islamophobia to the same extent they attacked Labour over allegations of anti-Semitism. Firstly such scrutiny would run entirely counter to the mainstream media groupthink objective of protecting the neoliberal status quo by working to oust Jeremy Corbyn, and secondly "the Tory party is over-run with bigots" is really more of a common sense assertion rather than a groundbreaking news story anyway, isn't it? 

For me the huge disparity between mainstream media coverage of the Labour anti-Semitsm row and the Tory anti-Muslim allegations is actually secondary to another issue, the shockingly cynical Tory response to these allegations of widespread anti-Muslim bigotry in their own party.

While Labour took the position that anti-Semitism is wrong, and that it should be stamped out in all of society, including when it arises in the Labour ranks (the correct response), the Tories have signalled that they're absolutely fine with the allegations and have no intention of investigating them, or dealing with anti-Muslim bigots in their ranks.

The refusal to take the allegations seriously was exemplified by the new Tory Home Secretary Sajid Javid when he attempted to publicly delegitimise the Muslim Council of Britain rather than deal with their concerns over Tory anti-Muslim bigotry.

Labour admitted that they had a problem and proposed to take action to combat it and mainstream media hacks hounded them for weeks over it, and the Tories have basically said "fuck you, we're fine with it" and the mainstream press have largely left them alone.

The interesting thing here is that the Tory response to these allegations has been clearly calculated. They're not just adopting this "fuck you, we're fine with it" attitude because they expect to be allowed to get away with it by their chums in the mainstream media, they will also have considered the public opinion consequences too.

Given that the Tories are only clinging onto power at all because they managed to absorb the majority of the hard-right ultranationalist voters who fled the wreckage of UKIP, a belligerent "fuck you" response to accusations of widespread anti-Muslim bigotry in their ranks is likely to resonate a lot more strongly with this crucial demographic than an admission that anti-Muslim attitudes are wrong, and the launch of an investigation into the problem.

The Tories seem to have calculated that their "fuck you, we're fine with it" attitude will play so well with the large extreme-right ultranationalist demographic they're so desperate to appease, that it will easily mitigate any fallout amongst Tory voting Muslims.

The logic being that any Muslim who still votes Tory after the outrageous BNP stype anti-Muslim fearmongering campaign they ran for Zac Goldsmith's London mayoral campaign in 2015, is clearly also likely to tolerate their refusal to investigate widespread accusations of anti-Muslim bigotry in the Tory ranks too.

An admission of the problem and the launch of an inquiry into it would infuriate the crucial blue-kip demographic the Tory party has rendered itself utterly reliant upon, whilst their belligerent refusal to engage with the criticisms creates the impression that they're exactly the kind of bigoted extreme-right anti-Muslim party this hard right blue-kip demographic are looking for.

just think about it. British society has not yet drifted so far to the extreme-right that the Tories can come out and explicitly position themselves as an anti-Muslim party, but what's the next best thing to appeal to the extreme-right - ultranationalist - white-supremacist - anti-Muslim demographic?

Publicly attacking and delegitimising the Muslim Council of Britain, and clearly signalling that they have no intention of rooting out anti-Muslim bigots from their party would seem ideal for the purpose don't you think?

The Tories are actually playing their anti-Muslim bigotry scandal as a vote winner, knowing that to a significant swathe of right-wing people, rampant anti-Muslim prejudice is actually an attractive quality!

Sajid Javid just baselessly called hundreds of Jewish Labour Party members "neo-fascists"

The Tory government minister Sajid Javid has just stood up in parliament and accused the Labour activist group Momentum of being "neo-fascists". 

Aside from the fact that it's the political left who have always stood in solidarity with the Jewish people to fight against actual fascists from the political right (as at Cable Street where they beat the British Union of Fascists in the 1930s, when they beat back the rise of the National Front in Lewisham in the '70s, and the regular criticism of modern neo-Fascist hate groups like Britain First from the political left), there's also the well-known fact that the leader of Momentum is a Jewish guy called Jon Lansman.

Now if we know anything at all about anti-Semitism then surely we know that it's deeply anti-Semitic to baselessly resort to calling Jewish people Nazis just because you disagree with their political views.

So where is the tide of outrage about this hard-right government minister deliberately and offensively tarring hundreds of peaceful anti-fascist left-leaning Jewish people with the vile ideology that resulted in the mass genocide against their ancestors?

Aside from the blatantly anti-Semitic nature of his revolting smear-tactics, there's another thing to realise about Sajid Javid:

When Zac Goldsmith and the Tories used vile extreme-right propaganda tactics copied straight out of the BNP playbook to attack Sadiq Khan during the London Mayoral election in 2016, guess who remained absolutely silent on these disgusting tactics?

Then there was the blind eye that Javid turned when the actual fascist Britain First leader Paul Golding recently threatened to violently intimidate anyone who dares to oppose or criticise right-wing politicians like Rees-Mogg.

Then there's the fact that Javid refused to criticise his fellow Tory MP Bob Blackman after he shared extreme-right Islamophobic propaganda on his Facebook page just a few days before he hid behind parliamentary privilege to shout his offensive slurs at Jewish Momentum members.

When his own political party used neo-fascist tactics copied straight from the BNP, Sajid Javid remained silent; when the Britain First neo-Nazi thugs threatened to act as a violent enforcement militia for the Tories, Sajid Javid remained silent; when his fellow Tory MP shared disgusting fascist propaganda on Facebook, Sajid Javid remained silent.

And then after all of that silence he resorts to full bore anti-Semitism by slurring every single Jewish member of Momentum as neo-Nazis.

Will Theresa May do anything to discipline her own government minister for debasing parliament by resorting to anti-Semitic smear-mongering? Doubtful

Will the Tories like Brandon Lewis who was promoting his "respect pledges" on social media just a few weeks ago call his fellow Tory out on his hyperbolic and offensive slurs? Doubtful

Will the mainstream media call Sajid Javid out for baselessly smearing hundreds of Jewish Labour Party members as Nazis just days after the whole anti-Semitism furore? Doubtful

Just like Javid's own personal attitude to Zac Goldsmith's disgusting use of neo-Nazi propaganda tactics, his fellow Tories will doubtless turn a blind eye and refuse to hold their own to account.

And given the blind eye the mainstream media have turned to half a dozen other bigotry and bullying scandals within the Tory ranks this week, few would expect mainstream journalists to call him out either.

Imagine the press reaction if some crazed leftist had admitted their plot to kill Theresa May ...

The extreme-right suspect in the deadly Finsbury Park attack has admitted in court that he originally intended to kill Jeremy Corbyn when he hired a van and drove it to London on June 19th 2017.

In the end the van was driven into a group of Muslims in Finsbury Park in Jeremy Corbyn's Islington constituency, resulting in one death and several serious injuries.

The mainstream media have reported the fact that the terrorism suspect intended to kill Jeremy Corbyn, but in a fairly neutral manner and without any effort to apportion blame on the people who radicalised him.

Just imagine the mainstream media reaction if the roles were reversed and it was some kind of radical extreme-leftist who had plotted to kill Theresa May, then driven a vehicle into a random group of people outside a Conservative club in her constituency later that day.

Even if the attacker was a member of some random Stalinist cult with no links whatever to the Labour Party, we all know that there would be a concerted effort to link the attacker with Jeremy Corbyn and Momentum, and to force Jeremy Corbyn to apologise for the attack as if it was his personal responsibility.

Yet Theresa May has been allowed to get away with saying absolutely nothing about it, as if extremist plots to kill her political rivals are perfectly normal and unworthy of comment.

As it stands nobody in the mainstream media is holding hate-spewing Tory politicians or the right-wing propaganda rags responsible for the extreme rhetoric they used against Jeremy Corbyn, which eventually triggered this assassination plot against him.

Take Zac Goldsmith's disgusting BNP-style propaganda during his failed bid to become Major of London, or the grotesquely misleading attacks on Jeremy Corbyn on the front pages of the right-wing propaganda rags during the general election, or the continued hate-inciting rhetoric of Tory MPs like Nadine Dorries.

All of these people who have attempted to smear Jeremy Corbyn as some kind of supporter of radical Islamist terrorism should be held accountable when people decide to take the law into their own hands and develop assassination plots, especially after the murder of Jo Cox by a right-wing extremist in 2016.

We know that Darren Osborne was radicalised by Britain First, and that he was praised and lauded as a hero in the Britain First echo chamber after the attack was carried out, but when that extreme-right organisation is actually held to account for radicalising people like Darren Osborne into plotting to assassinate politicians is a question for a different article.

The big questions here are why hate-inciting Tories like Zac Goldsmith and the right-wing propaganda rags are not being forced to apologise for spreading the kind of extreme anti-Corbyn smears that inspired Darren Osborne to develop a plot to assassinate him? And why Theresa May is being allowed to get away with saying nothing when we all know the mainstream media would be desperately trying to smear Jeremy Corbyn by association, and demanding that he apologise in person if the circumstances were different?

Politicians & journalists need to consider their own roles in toxifying the political environment

Just imagine if an independent left-wing website had published an article from a self-confessed Holocaust denier that featured brazen displays of sexism and anti-Semitism like the Sunday Times just did.

You know as well as I do that the right-wing media would pick up on the article and use it to smear the entire left as a bunch of misogynistic and anti-Semitic bigots, and to generate the absurd narrative that it's abusive and violent fanaticism in politics is solely a left-wing issue.

When the Sunday Times published an extraordinary article from the controversialist Kevin Myers which was dripping with sexism (repeated claims that women don't earn enough because they're not as driven, logical or masterful as men) and casual anti-semitism (allusion to the age old greedy money-grabbing Jew trope) they simply expected to get away with it as if printing such casual bigotry is just "fair comment".

We all know that we would never hear the end of it if some Corbyn-supporting site had hosted such brazenly sexist and anti-Semitic content, but because it's one of Rupert Murdoch's propaganda sheets, we're all supposed to be mollified with the deletion of the article and the explanation that it was just a "mistake" (as if commissioning a Holocaust denier to write an article full of bigoted stereotypes and then publishing it is the kind of mistake we've all made in our lives).

and anti-Semitism had appeared on a left-wing blog.

The most shocking thing about the article isn't that it was written (we all know there are still loads of sexists, racists and anti-Semites out there) but the fact that a supposedly reputable newspaper saw fit to publish such outright bigotry.

It tells you everything you need to know about the cultural acceptance of sexism and anti-Semitism at the Sunday Times that they actually commissioned an article from a known Holocaust denier and nobody at all saw fit to raise concerns about the extreme bigotry in the article as it went through the editing and publishing process.

Of course anyone who pays attention to the political environment knows that most of the hateful and violent extremism comes from the political right. We know that it was an extreme-right "Britain First" screaming fanatic who murdered Jo Cox, that the three people jailed for bombarding the Labour MP Luciana Berger with anti-Semitic abuse were all extreme-right fanatics not "lefties", and that the Finsbury Park terror attack suspect was a Britain First follower, and that his attack was wildly celebrated in the Britain First hate chamber.

Then there's the fact that Tory party has an incredibly lax attitude towards extreme-right propaganda that goes right to the top of the party (consider Zac Goldsmith's bigoted BNP-style campaign to become mayor of London, or Theresa May's decision to quote an bigoted extreme-right Twitter troll in the House of Commons as a cheap dig against Jeremy Corbyn, and the countless Tory politicians who have been caught out saying bigoted things and/or sharing extreme-right content on social media).

Not only do the Tory party have a very lax attitude towards right-wing extremism, the right-wing press who run constant propaganda for the Tories also feature regular displays of bigotry and right-wing extremism.

The Sunday Times are far from alone in hosting extreme bigotry for which independent left-wing websites would (rightfully) be condemned for if they did anything like as bad.

Unlike the radio station LBC the Daily Mail saw no problem with continuing to employ the unspeakable woman, even after she publicly called for a "final solution" against Muslims.

A columnist who writes for a newspaper that supported Adolf Hitler and the rise of fascism in the 1930s calling for a modern day Holocaust against Muslims is offensive on so many levels, but the Daily Mail are as comfortable with employing the unspeakable woman today as they are with their history of promoting fascism in the 1930s.

Then there's the S*n who published an article comparing a mixed race footballer with a gorilla, and the Daily Telegraph that called for the Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon to be beheaded for having the wrong political opinions.

Self-righteous MPs have launched an inquiry into the abuse of MPs, but the inquiry will tell them absolutely nothing unless they widen the scope of the investigation to look at what is inspiring people to send so many abusive messages to MPs.

Without widening the scope of the inquiry to look into the extreme behaviour of the right-wing press (the casual displays of bigotry and extremism outlined above, declaring judges "enemies of the people" for the "crime" of standing up for parliamentary democracy, the "crush the saboteurs" headline, the extreme smear-mongering campaign against Jeremy Corbyn during the election) and to investigate MPs own extreme behaviour and tolerance of extreme-right online abuse when it suits their purposes (like Theresa May quoting an extreme-right Twitter troll in parliament) then they'll never get to the bottom of why so many ordinary people feel emboldened to lob extreme abuse and threats at politicians.

If MPs and supposedly reputable newspapers create a political atmosphere where bigotry, threats, smears, abuse and extreme-right nastiness are normalised, it takes incredible feats of self-regarding hypocrisy for theat lot to react to ordinary people behaving in the very same way as if they're uniquely sick degenerates, rather than easily led people simply imitating the behaviour they see politicians and journalists continually getting away with.

The Tories think the rest of us are thicker than London, let's prove them wrong

Remember the shocking BNP-style election campaign the Tories ran against Sadiq Khan in the 2016 London Mayor election?

It's obvious that they're doing the exact same thing now.

The same total lack of focus on their own policies. The same desperate smearing. The same pathetic attempts to associate their opposition with terrorism. The same pandering to the extreme-right. The same total lack of respect for basic decency and honest debating tactics. The same anti-Muslim rhetoric (Theresa May appealing to the Britain First crowd by trying to blame the Muslim community for her own government's security lapses).

It's hardly surprising that they've adopted this abusive style of campaigning, after all the same man is behind both of them: The tax-dodging Australian muck-slinger Lynton Crosby.

The Tory campaign in London failed abysmally. Zac Goldsmith was absolutely hammered by Sadiq Khan, who won a great deal of respect for the dignified way in which he kept his calm and rose above the tide of Tory abuse.

The 2017 General Election is playing out the exact same way, with the Tories slinging as many lies, misrepresentations and smears as they can at Jeremy Corbyn, and with him trying to rise above it to continue focusing on policy issues and conducting the election debate in a dignified manner.

I'm sure London will reject this disgusting Tory muck-slinging again, like they did in 2016. As will Scotland, most of the big English urban areas (Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds-Bradford, Bristol, Newcastle-Sunderland, Sheffield) and probably Wales too.

The big question is whether the less urban regions of England and the Tory shires will buy into these disgraceful personal abuse tactics of a party that is clearly totally out of ideas?

Will Britain have the basic human decency to see this vile Tory propaganda campaign for what it is:

The desperate cowardly smears of an depraved political party that doesn't have a single positive policy of their own to champion.

Another humiliating slap-down for Zac Goldsmith

As regular readers will know I'm not a big fan of the so-called Liberal Democrats. Most of my contempt for them stems from their strategically inept decision to enable the Tories back into  absolute power in 2010.

During the five years they propped up David Cameron's government the votes of elected Lib-Dem MPs and unelected Lib-Dem peers enabled all kind of appalling Tory malice. Years of socially and economically ruinous austerity, the flogging off of the Royal Mail at way below its true market value, "Bedroom Tax", the tripling of university student fees, the annihilation of flood defence spending (with disastrous consequences in several Lib-Dem constituencies), the NHS privatisation-by-stealth bill, Iain Duncan Smith's regime of terror for disabled people ... it was all enabled by Lib-Dem votes.

Perhaps even worse than the social and economic destruction the Lib-Dems helped David Cameron and George Osborne to inflict on the British public was the slew of gratuitously illiberal legislation that this supposedly "liberal" party helped to push trough.

No party with the word "liberal" in their name should ever have backed appalling stuff like Secret Courts, DRIPA, The Gagging Law or Theresa May's policy of tearing apart tens of thousands of British families. But that's precisely what the so-called Liberal Democrats did.

Even though the Lib-Dem's savagely illiberal actions between 2010 and 2015 speak very much louder than their cosy liberal words post-2015, I'm still pleased for their winning candidate in Richmond Park Sarah Olney.

Olney is very new to politics having only joined the Lib-Dems in July 2015. The fact that she joined them after the end of the toxic coalition with the Tories absolves her of the blame that much of the rest of the party deserve for their active participation in such a hard-right and illiberal government.

Another factor that makes Olney's victory very enjoyable is that as the de facto Liberal-Green candidate she managed to defeat the de facto Tory-UKIP candidate Zac Goldsmith.

It's an absolute pleasure to see how rapidly Zac Goldsmith's political career has collapsed after the failure of his bigoted BNP-style campaign to become the Mayor of London.

A lot of political commentators have tried to make this by-election all about Brexit, but in my opinion it represents something much bigger. It represents a resounding defeat for the bigoted right-wing dog whistle racism that Zac Goldsmith embraced in his failed bid to succeed his fellow Eton toff Boris Johnson as the Mayor of London.

The Lib-Dems have claimed that around a third of the Tory voters who abandoned Zac Goldsmith in order to vote for Sarah Olney were Brexit supporters who are disillusioned with the anti-democratic hard-right Brexit posturing and divisive immigration fearmongering of Theresa May and the Tories.

If the Lib-Dem claims are true and lots of Brexit supporters turned against the joint Tory-UKIP candidate in this by-election, it looks like a hefty slap-down for the hard-right bigotry that Zac Goldsmith was all-too-keen to appeal to during his failed mayoral campaign.

It seems that Goldsmith completely failed to learn his lesson that London doesn't want divisive extreme-right bigotry. He failed to distance himself from the Ukippers and Biffers who supported his by-election campaign, and he's lost his seat in parliament as a consequence.

If people do insist on viewing the Richmond Park by-election through the prism of Brexit, then one thing that really stands out is the way that Sarah Olney's win turns the plucky anti-establishment Brexiter narrative completely on its head.

Here we saw a comprehensive school educated political novice beating a well-connected, Eton educated, establishment insider from a super-rich elitist family. The novice from an ordinary background won for the Remain side and the establishment insider who took such a humiliating slap-down was a committed Brexiteer.

The idea of Brexit as an anti-establishment rebellion was ludicrous enough with people like Boris Johnson, Rupert Murdoch, Michael Gove, Iain Duncan Smith, Nigel Farage, Richard Desmond, Jonathan Harmsworth and Douglas Carswell cast as the working class anti-establishment heroes, but this by-election really did show this plucky anti-establishment Brexiter narrative up as the woeful drivel that it is.

Despite the joy any right-thinking person must feel at Zac Goldsmith's humiliation, it's vitally important to temper this surprise defeat for the hard-right with a bit of perspective. The joint Tory-UKIP candidate was beaten by a narrow margin in a wealthy liberal part of London. It's going to take an awful lot more effort to beat hard-right bigotry in places that have suffered appallingly as a result of four decades of relentless neoliberal economic dogma.

The "blame foreigners, blame refugees, blame the EU, blame lefties" snake oil of the extreme-right is obviously going to sell a hell of a lot better in politically abandoned places where huge numbers of people are desperately struggling to get by, than it does in well-to-do parts of London.

In conclusion I'd like to bid a cheery farewell to Zac Goldsmith's political career and hope that he never comes back (he'll probably soon reappear as an unelected crony in the House of Lords though, as is the Tory way), and I'd also like to wish all the best to Sarah Olney and hope that she represents a new start for the Liberal-Democrats; one that involves never again propping up hard-right illiberal Tory governments in return for a a few years of six figure ministerial salaries and chauffeur driven ministerial cars.

The growing mountain of evidence that UKIP are a Tory Trojan Horse party

For years I've been trying to point out that UKIP is a Tory Trojan Horse political party  to facilitate the interests of the hard-right fringe of the Tory party.

The UKIP Trojan Horse plot is simple enough. They constantly dress themselves up as an "alternative" to the mainstream political parties even though they share an almost identical hard-right ideological agenda with the Tory party.

By posturing as an alternative to the political status quo UKIP have managed to hoover up the votes of millions of dissatisfied voters who might otherwise have backed actual alternatives to the hard-right political orthodoxy that has annihilated working class jobs, wages and communities across the United Kingdom ever since 1979.

The genius of this Trojan Horse strategy is that it has used discontentment at the consequences of four decades of hard-right economic dogma in order to drag British politics ever further to the right.

There is abundant evidence that UKIP is essentially a branch of the Tory party. Their charismatic ideological leader Nigel Farage is a Thatcher-worshipping former Tory party activist, UKIP is completely riddled with ex-Tories who have passed through the revolving door between the Tory party and UKIP; the guy who wrote the 2010 UKIP manifesto was a Tory before he wrote it and is now a Tory again; the new UKIP leader Paul Nuttall actually stood as a Tory party candidate in Bootle back in 2002;and 90% of UKIPs donations are raised from millionaire former Tory party donors.

After the vote for Brexit the fact that UKIP are a Trojan Horse for promoting the interests of the radical hard-right fringe of the Tory party has become ever more apparent. Here are several very strong indicators.

• In September 2016 one of Nigel Farage's closest aides defected to the Tory party saying that Theresa May is essentially "delivering the 2015 UKIP manifesto".

• The fact that the Tories and UKIP are both backing Zac Goldsmith in the Richmond Park by-election is clear proof that they're pushing exactly the same radically right-wing agenda. Zac Goldsmith was guilty of utilising extreme-right BNP style propaganda tactics during his disgusting campaign to become Mayor of London, so it's no wonder that Ukippers have warmed to him so much that he's now essentially standing as a joint Tory-UKIP candidate in the guise of an "independent".

• Paul Nuttall is the UKIP's latest leader. Back in 2014 he let his true hard-right Tory agenda slip in a blog post in which he praised the Tory party for their backdoor privatisation of the NHS. Nuttall is such an Internet illiterate that he imagined that he could stop people pointing out his savagely anti-NHS views simply by deleting the webpage. Not only is the guy an out-and-out Tory who revels in the Tory destruction of the NHS, he uses the exact same revisionist "delete it from the Internet" tactics as the Tory party. 

• Suzanne Evans was the other UKIP leadership candidate. She is so fond of the Tory leader Theresa May that she would like to see May rule the United Kindgom as a political dictatorship. In fact she's so keen on scrapping parliamentary sovereignty so that Theresa May is set free to make up the law as she goes along that she wants any judge who dares to stand up for democracy and parliamentary sovereignty to be sacked.

• Nigel Farage is another UKIP politician who is as keen as mustard to see Theresa May set the legal precedent that the Prime Minister can just make up the law of the land as they go along, completely free from parliamentary scrutiny or approval. In fact Farage is so keen to support Theresa May's dictatorial urges that he even planned to raise a right-wing mob to intimidate the judiciary into scrapping the sovereignty of parliament.

UKIP and the Tories backed a joint political candidate in London; a UKIP defector to the Tories has stated that the political ideologies of the two parties are essentially identical; the UKIP leadership favourite shares radical anti-NHS views with the Tory party; another UKIP leadership candidate supports the Tory Prime Minister's dictatorial urges so strongly that she's calling for judges to be sacked in order to achieve it; and the most famous UKIP politician of all is intent on raising a mob to secure Theresa May's objective of scrapping parliamentary sovereignty and making up the law of the land as she goes along.

Of course Ukippers will try to attack me personally and decry this article as a "conspiracy theory", but the mountain of evidence that UKIP and the hard-right fringe of the Tories are essentially working together is absolutely damning, and growing all the time.

UKIP and the Tories are ideological blood-brothers, and the creation of a radically right-wing protest party has clearly and undeniably empowered the hard-right fringe of the Tory party.
After years of Ukippers' harking on about the importance of parliamentary sovereignty it's astounding that they have turned so savagely against the concept because they now don't want to see Theresa May and her hard-right government constrained by it. This complete Ukipper U-turn on parliamentary sovereignty illustrates two things very clearly indeed. UKIP support Theresa May and her Tory government so strongly that they would gladly sacrifice British political traditions like parliamentary sovereignty and the independence of the judiciary to support her dictatorial tendencies, and a huge number of their supporters are clearly capable of truly Orwellian levels of Doublethink over the concept of parliamentary sovereignty.

Not only have UKIP managed to drag the Tory party so much further to the right, they're now openly supporting Tory candidates in elections and threatening to raise a right-wing mob to intimidate the judiciary into allowing Theresa May to scrap parliamentary sovereignty and rule the UK as a right-wing dictator.

The reality is absolutely obvious. The people who believe in absurd conspiracy theories are not those who point out the fact that UKIP are a Tory Trojan Horse party, it's those who are actually gullible enough to believe that UKIP are an alternative to the political status quo, rather than a tool to further empowering the hard-right fringe of it.
