Aside from whipping up hate against the 3 million EU citizens in the EU with her outrageous insinuation that EU workers have cheated their way into the UK, Theresa May is also using Brexit as an excuse to vandalise the NHS.
10% of NHS doctors have come to the UK from the EU via Freedom of Movement. 7% of EU nurses, and 7% of all UK care workers.
The NHS is already straining under a Tory-created recruitment crisis (8 years of NHS funding cuts, scrapping of NHS Bursaries, the sickening Tory treatment of junior doctors, massive cuts to social care services causing a huge increase in demand for NHS services, the collapse in overseas nurse recruitment since the Brexit vote).
The NHS is short of 41,000 nurses and 12,000 doctors already, and the recruitment gap is getting bigger and bigger with staff shortages of 350,000 predicted within a decade.
So by deliberately slamming the door shut on skilled health care workers from the EU, and by making EU-born health workers who are already here feel unwelcome by deliberately whipping up public hate against them with insinuations they cheated their way into the country, Theresa May is clearly intent on exacerbating the NHS recruitment crisis.
Why would Theresa May and the Tories wish to deliberately push the NHS towards ruin in this way?
The reason is that the Tories have always hated the NHS with an undying ideological passion, ever since they opposed its creation back in the 1940s.
They hate it because providing health care on the basis of need, rather than the ability to pay for it, is an example of socialism in action.
When poor and ordinary people with serious illnesses are prioritised over extremely wealthy people with minor ailments, it makes the Tories and their mega-rich backers furious, because selfish entitled elitists like them believe that the rich should always have the ability to buy their way to the front of any queue.
Theresa May's efforts to drive skilled EU workers out of the NHS are all part of the grand Tory scheme to privatise the NHS and replace the universal health care model with private insurance system, whereby the wealthy get the best treatment while the poor and uninsured are left to the mercies of massively over-crowded and under-funded charity hospitals.
The Tories are seeking to undermine, underfund, and de-staff the NHS as much as possible because they know that the only way they can sell their NHS privatisation agenda to the public is by reducing the quality of service to such an extent that people will accept their NHS privatisation propaganda out of sheer desperation.
Don't just take my word for it, consider what the Chair of Conservative Health Paul Charlson's view that the only possible way to replace the NHS with a private fee-based system would be "if there was a feeling in the country that health services are falling apart".
And what better way to ensure that health services are falling apart than by following up 8 years of ruinous ideologically driven funding cuts (at a time of rising demand for services) with a deliberately manufactured NHS recruitment crisis?
If Theresa May succeeds in using Brexit as a means of wrecking the NHS and bringing in a privatised health insurance based replacement the Tories will be absolutely ecstatic because they've been desperate to get rid of the socialist NHS for over 70 years.
If she succeeds she'd go from being the hubristic fool who threw away her own majority, to the revered Tory leader who finally achieved the Tory wet dream of destroying the NHS.
Ironically the people who would suffer the most from this Tory ruination of the NHS are the demographics who were most likely to have voted for Brexit in the first place: the pensioners, and people from poor left-behind communities. Because pensioners and the poor are also by far the most likely to be dependent on the provision of free healthcare, and the ones least likely to be able to cover the cost of private health insurance premiums.
And worst of all, not an insignificant number of these Brexit voters will have voted for Brexit because they believed the '£350 million for the NHS' lie on that damned Brexit bus, and imagined that voting for Brexit would actually help the NHS!

It doesn't matter how many positive platitudes about health workers and the universal health care system they spout, right-wing politicians actually hate the NHS with a burning ideological passion, because they hate socialism, and the NHS is one of the world's finest examples of socialism in action.
Any right-wing politician in the UK with even a few brain cells to rub together knows that the NHS principle of health care that is free at the point of need is still overwhelmingly popular with the British public.
This means that they have to lie about their ideological fantasy of carving the NHS into pieces to give away to their corporate mates, and scrapping the socialist principle of universal health care.
They know they have to lie because the vast majority of British people would reject them if they dared to tell the truth about what they'd like to do with the NHS.
In fact, the NHS is so popular it's even supported by the majority of Tory voters (how Tory voters who love the NHS reconcile this with their choice to vote for an anti-socialist party that vandalises the NHS every time they get into power is one of the crucial political questions of British politics).
This pragmatic need to cover up their hatred of the NHS means that it's rare that right-wing politicians tell the truth about the NHS, but occasionally they do.
One right-wing politician who let his true feelings about the NHS seep out is the Tory MP Jeremy Hunt who co-authored a book calling for the NHS to be scrapped and replaced with a private insurance based system.
It just goes to show how much contempt David Cameron had for the NHS that he put Jeremy Hunt in charge of it, and it goes to show that Theresa May is equally contemptuous toward the NHS that she decided to keep him on as health secretary when she had the chance to get rid of him.
That's two Tory Prime Ministers in a row who saw a man who wanted to scrap the NHS as the ideal person to run the NHS!
Another Tory right-winger who outlined his contempt for the idea of universal health care is the Tory propagandist Henry Hill, who went as far as publishing his blueprint for wrecking the NHS in a blog post.
The former UKIP leader Paul Nuttall is another right-winger who has spoken openly about his NHS views. Before he became UKIP leader Nuttall wrote blog posts and made speeches expressing his hatred for the NHS and its staff, celebrating the ideological vandalism the Tories have been doing to the NHS since 2012, and making up outright lies about NHS staffing levels and the efficiency of NHS services.

Yet another right-wing politician who accidentally let the truth out about the Tory policy towards the NHS is the chairman of Conservative Health Paul Charlson who claimed that charging for NHS services is "a good idea in principle… [BUT] It would be political suicide for a party to introduce this. They could only really do it if there was a feeling in the country that health services
were falling apart".
The Tory strategy is that the NHS has to be under-funded and mismanaged to the point of destruction in order that they can try to get away with scrapping the free at the point of need principle and bringing in charging for services, which would allow the wealthy to queue jump.
Whatever Tory and UKIP politicians say about how much they love and respect the NHS, it's vital to remember that they're just lying through their teeth because they know that's what the vast majority of the British public want to hear.
In reality right-wingers hate the NHS with a burning ideological passion and can't wait for the day that they get to scrap the unmistakably socialist principle of prioritising health care by need rather than the ability to pay.

It's becoming increasingly clear there is a cult in UK politics, but it's not Corbyn supporters - it's a group of privileged and elitist mainstream media hacks and right-wing politicians who believe that they can brainwash people into voting against their own interests by continually smearing Jeremy Corbyn.
So instead of covering any real news/political policies at all, it's just one desperate smear after another from these neoliberal cultists.
Week after week after week the smears continue, with each new dirty tricks campaign hailed as the magical one that will finally destroy Corbyn and bring the appeal of democratic socialism crashing down.
Disrespecting veterans I
In the early days they tried to accuse Corbyn of disrespecting veterans by not bowing deeply enough at the Cenotaph.
But then after a while we found out that Corbyn was the only politician to actually stay behind to chat to the WWII veterans, while the rest of the politicians and dignitaries went off for a slap up meal!
Disrespecting veterans II
Then the next year they tried the same kind of trick, but this time by crudely photoshopping out the veteran Jeremy Corbyn was having an animated conversation with to make it look like he was dancing.
Then we all saw the original pictures and clocked that it was a ridiculously hypocritical smear that involved crudely photoshopping a WWII veteran out of a series of photos in order to accuse Corbyn of disrespecting veterans!
Unelectable
One of the classic early Corbyn smears was the unsubstantiated assertion that Corbyn was somehow inerently "unelectable".
This particular smear was especially commonplace amongst Labour right-wingers who wanted Labour to continue offering the same watered down Tory gruel of privatisation, austerity, corporate outsourcing that lost them the 2015 General Election.
It didn't seem to matter to these people that Corbyn twice proved that he was far more electable than them by trouncing their neoliberalism-lite candidates in the Labour leadership contests of 2015 and 2016.
Then in 2017 the Corbyn did two things that were considered politically impossible (bringing out the youth vote, and engaging non-voters) to ruin Theresa May's vanity election and counteract the combined force of the Tory-UKIP vote.
Suddenly the "unelectable" smear disappeared, because the neoliberal cultists suddenly realised their worst fear; that Corbyn is actually very electable, and that he only narrowly lost out in 2017 because of the internal wrecking behaviour of orthodox neoliberals embedded within the Labour Party.
IRA
[Main article - 9 things everyone needs to know about the Corbyn-IRA smears]
One of the most persistent anti-Corbyn attack points is the IRA smear & pictures of him meeting Gerry Adams.
Pretty soon we all found out that they somehow "forgot" to mention that while Jeremy Corbyn was openly discussing peace with politicians from Sinn Fein (and Ulster loyalists too), Margaret Thatcher and the Tories were secretly negotiating with the actual IRA terrorists and simultaneously lying to the public that "we don't negotiate with terrorists"!
Economic extremism
One of the most absurd of all of the anti-Corbyn smears is that he's some kind of terrifying economic extremist.
The slightest familiarity with Corbyn's economic policies reveals that his economic policies are actually a mix of centre-left ideas that are absolutely commonplace across the developed world (public ownership of core public services, free university education, a national investment fund, universal health care, normal rates of Corporation Tax ...).
What's even more revealing is that Corbyn's public ownership policies are actually extremely popular with the general public, while it's the Tories pushing wildly unpopular extremist ideas like privatisation of policing, state schools, and the NHS!
As with so many of the other anti-Corbyn smears, the economic extremist smear relies on a ridiculously Orwellian reversal of reality.
Terrorism
Then it was the Islamist terrorism sympathiser rubbish, which made no sense at all even from the beginning given that Theresa May has been desperately sucking up to the head-chopping terrorism-exporting Saudi tyrants to sell them more weapons to commit their war crimes in Yemen with.
The terrorist sympathiser smears began to make even less sense after Corbyn's tried to stop Britain exporting arms to the Islamist Saudi tyrants until they stop their war crimes in Yemen, and stop funding, and arming, and supplying, and promoting Islamist terrorist groups across North Africa and the Middle East.
But then the Tories use of BNP-style terrorism and anti-Muslim fearmongering tactics to attack their political opponents isn't limited to Jeremy Corbyn, they used the same ugly and divisive anti-Muslim smear tactics to attack the unmistakably 'centrist' Labour politician Sadiq Khan too.
Czech spy
Then it was the outright defamatory "Czech spy" smear, which worked for a while until it was discovered that the source of the allegations was a total bampot who also claimed to be the inventor of Live Aid!
Then it was revealed that there isn't even a Czech secret service file on Jeremy Corbyn in their archives.
This ludicrous "Czech spy" smear was spread so enthusiastically by Corbyn-detractors that the Tory MP Ben Bradley was forced into issuing a Twitter apology, which rapidly developed into the most mega-viral social media PR disaster in the history of British politics!
Russian Stooge
Then it was the 'Russian stooge' idiocy, which again made no sense at all, even from the beginning, given that it was the Tories who took £800,000 in donations from Russian oligarchs and Putin stooges since Theresa May became PM.
Then it was revealed that it was the Tories who intervened to stop him when Corbyn tried to introduce Magnitsky powers to clamp down on Russian dark money flowing into the UK!
Anti-Semitism
And now it's the cynical weaponisation of anti-Semitism to smear Corbyn as being as bad as Enoch Powell which relies on the deliberately misleading (and downright anti-Semitic) conflation of a critical comment about a bunch of rude and abusive Zionist extremists with an attack on all Jews.
But it fell to pieces again when it was found that the anti-Corbyn pro-Israel MP Wes Streeting called the very same Zionist extremists "a bunch of yobs" when they wrecked one of his meetings.
And then we found out that the actual guy who made the hyperbolic Enoch Powell comparison had publicly promoted a book by an extreme-right author that praised Enoch Powell and engaged in chapter after chapter of xenophobic and anti-Muslim fear-mongering!
And then there's the fact that rates of anti-Semitism in the Labour ranks have plummeted since Jeremy Corbyn became party leader, and that anti-Semitic views are actually way more common in the Tory party (not that you'd ever hear about that in the mainstream media).
Failure
But despite the failure of each of their smear campaigns, on and on they'll go, trying to brainwash the public rejecting democratic socialism by smearing Jeremy Corbyn, believing with all their black little hearts that each new smear will be the magical one that returns orthodox neoliberalism to unquestioned supremacy in UK politics.
And the reason they persist with these tactics is obvious.
- They know that Corbyn's proposal for a National Education Service to provide free education and training from cradle to grave is a great idea to help Britain become a modern fast-moving economy with a flexible and highly-trained workforce.
So they continually resort to their cultish efforts to brainwash the public into hating Corbyn, because they know they haven't a hope of beating if the debate is centred on political policy, facts, and evidence rather than propaganda, rhetoric and crude personality politics.

After Jeremy Corbyn was elected leader of the Labour Party in 2015 the party membership swelled with hundreds of thousands of new members, mainly traditional Labour folk enthused by the party's first democratic socialist leader in decades.
The mainstream media were horrified by this surge of support for a guy who threatens the hard-right neoliberal orthodoxy that has served people like them so well for the last four decades, at the expense of millions of the rest of us, so the attacks on these new Labour Party members have been pretty much constant ever since.
The Labour membership surge
Ever since the Labour membership surge mainstream media hacks and opponents of democratic socialism have worked tirelessly to discredit it.
Aside from all of the abuse ("trots", "dogs", "rabble", "thugs", "Nazi stormtroopers") two themes have constantly stood out, the idea that left-wing people joining Labour are "entryists", and that Corbyn supporters are a "cult".
Anyone who is familiar with the history of the Labour Party would surely put up a counter-argument that the likes of centre-right pro-privatisation Thatcherites like Tony Blair, Peter Mandelson, John McTernan, Margaret Hodge, and Alistair Campbell were the "entryists" who took over the party, and that the post-Corbyn membership surge is the mass home-coming of those who were driven away from the party by the right-wing pro-privatisation pro-austerity Tory lite agenda between 1997 and 2015.
But still the mainstream media persists in portraying the hundreds of thousands who joined Labour since 2015 as "entryists" and "cultists" rather than just ordinary people enthused by an actual alternative to the hard-right Thatcherite consensus of the last four decades.
Ukipification of the Tories
Ever since the 2016 EU referendum it's become increasingly obvious that the Tory party is being usurped by the small hard-right anti-EU faction (the crackpot element John Major used to refer to as "the bastards").
Theresa May called her vanity election in 2017 because she believed that having unified the traditional Tory vote with the extreme-right ultranationalist Blue-kip demographic, a landslide majority would be inevitable. But she didn't count on Jeremy Corbyn or the energised Labour membership orchestrating the biggest turnaround in British politics since universal suffrage.
Since the 2017 general election we've all seen how Theresa May dances to the tune of the ERG Brextremists, knowing that Jacob Rees-Mogg and his ERG mob easily have the parliamentary numbers to trigger a leadership election if she refuses to obey their instructions.
And now we've even got the spectacle of Nigel Farage's extreme-right anti-immigrant Leave.EU campaign openly bragging that they've infiltrated the Tory party membership with 10,000 Brextremists in order to ensure that the next leader of the Tory party is a hard-right Brexiteer.
They're so confident of their success that they've actually announced what they're up to on Twitter!
The mainstream media silence on this ongoing Brextremist takeover of the Tory party is staggering given the absolute brazenness of it, and the enormous fuss they made over the Labour membership surge.
The Orwellian state of the British media
On the one hand you have hundreds of thousands of left-leaning people finally coming home to the Labour Party after years in exile due to the right-wing pro-privatisation, pro-austerity gruel being offered by the orthodox neoliberal leadership.
And on the other hand you've got an extreme-right Brexit campaign group openly and publicly bragging about the way they've infiltrated the Tory party in order to interfere in the party's leadership election.
But somehow the former is the grave concern worthy of hundreds of columns and TV segments ranging from patronising faux outrage to outright abuse of ordinary people, and the latter barely gets a single mention.
If anyone in British politics is an "entryist" surely it's got to be a follower of Nigel Farage and Arron Banks tearing up their UKIP membership in order to join the Tory party and influence the next leadership election in favour of the most extreme Brexiteer in the running? If anyone in British politics is a "cultist" surely it's people who continue to glibly dismiss every single piece of evidence that a "no deal" flounce out of the EU would be a social and economic catastrophe as "Project Fear".
Yet somehow left-wing Labour supporters are still continually derided as "entryists" and "cultists" by the mainstream media, while the Brexit cultists who are openly and brazenly usurping the Tory party in front of our eyes are just left in peace to get on with it!
The only conclusion that can be drawn out of this extraordinary contrast in mainstream media coverage is that the vast majority of the coddled mainstream media class are way more comfortable with extreme-right, anti-immigrant, Brextremists brazenly taking over the ruling Tory party in front of our eyes than they are with the Labour opposition returning to its democratic socialist roots!

On Saturday August 4th 2018 a group of around a dozen masked extreme-right thugs "ambushed" the socialist bookshop Bookmarks on Bloomsbury Street in London, where they trashed book displays, chanted anti-Muslim slogans, slandered staff as "paedophiles" and reportedly intimidated staff with threats to return and "show what they can do".
The bookshop raiders had clearly just come from a protest in support of Alex Jones' extreme-right conspiracy channel InfoWars, and they're so damned stupid they even uploaded videos of themselves plotting their "ambush" and then carrying it out.
The mainstream media silence on this self-described "ambush" has been deafening, especially given the numerous potential avenues to explore.
Pretty much everyone is familiar with the book-burning events in Nazi Germany (especially if they've seen Indiana Jones), so the book-hating fascists are back angle pretty much writes itself when a bunch of extreme-right idiots raid a bookshop, ridicule books based solely on the covers, and shout about how they hope the shop gets burned down.
Another angle that pretty much writes itself is the contrast between extreme-right fanatics endlessly posing as champions of free speech, and this extreme-right raid on a shop because of their ideological hatred of books they have no intention of even reading!
Yet another easy angle to write is the extraordinary level of immunity to cognitive dissonance it must take to go from a "free speech" protest against YouTube's sanctions against a handful of InforWars videos (for breaking their community standards) straight to barging into a left-wing bookshop to set about trashing the place and intimidating the staff for spreading the wrong kind of information!
Given that these angles are so obvious, and so easy to write, it's incredible that pretty much the entire mainstream media has ignored this story.
The Guardian has covered it, as have the Independent, and while they're far more neoliberalism-lite outlets than socialist ones, they at least deserve a bit of credit for covering what most of the rest of the heavily right-wing skewed mainstream media have ignored.
What's the betting that if it is covered in the right-wing propaganda rags, the coverage will be sympathetic to the ambushers, and damning about "lefty snowflakes" for daring to object to it?
Now let's just consider how the mainstream media would have reacted if the roles were reversed. Imagine it was a group of lefties protesting against a conservative bookshop. Let's even say that these hypothetical lefties didn't even wear masks, enter the premises, rudely intimidate staff, or call slander them as "paedophile" with no possible justification.
Let's say they just stood outside protesting and dissuading customers from entering, rather than "ambushing" the place and yelling abuse at the workers.
We know that this kind of thing would chime with the extreme-right victim complex narrative that their freedom of speech is being repressed, so even if the event was entirely non-violent, right-wing leaning hacks would no doubt exaggerate it into some kind of intimidating riot.

There is plenty of precedent for this kind of media exaggeration too.
In 2015 the disgraced former Tory minister Priti Patel's complaints about a gang of "threatening thugs" intimidating her at her office were widely reported in the right-wing press ... but just contrast her claims of thuggery and intimidation with an actual photo of the protest.
Then there was the Jacob Rees-Mogg protest that was whipped up into headline news by the mainstream media as "violent left-wing thugs kicking off", when it was soon revealed that although noisy and unruly, the lefty protest only turned violent when a white-shirted Rees-Mogg supporter (who likes to dress up as a Nazi in his spare time) waded into the heated discussion to start shoving and hitting people.
When lefties protest against the right, the mainstream media instantly go into hysterical and wildly inaccurate shrieking mode, but when right-wing thugs actually "ambush" a lefty bookshop, throw books around, chant abuse, intimidate staff and reportedly threaten to return to "show what they can do", the mainstream media silence couldn't be more deafening.
This staggering lack of journalistic balance paints a frightening picture of a catastrophically failing mainstream media. Ever willing to talk up, exaggerate, and even lie about the misdeeds left-wingers when they non-violently protest against the right. And equally willing just bury the story when right-wing extremists actually resort to "ambushes", intimidation, and grotesque abuse.
Is it any wonder the extreme-right is on the rise in Britain under such circumstances?
Buy a book?
If you identify as any kind of lefty-liberal (democratic socialist, progressive, social liberal, anarchist, syndicalist, green anarchist, social democrat, left-libertarian) why not show your solidarity with Bookmarks by picking a book to order from their online catalogue.
If enough people order a book from them, this would certainly demonstrate the power of the Streisand Effect to the neo-fascist book-hating thugs wouldn't it?

How can the Tories expect us to believe that they can run the country when they can't even send vile propaganda-ridden begging letters to pensioners without screwing it up by addressing them to "Youmustbe Fuckingjoking".
The blunder obviously came about because the Tories used "Youmustbe Fuckingjoking" as the default Addressee on their mailing list, then forgot to change it when they input the address.
The Tories have admitted that the offensive letter was sent out by their propaganda arm and apologised for the sweary piss-taking, but there's plenty of other concerning stuff within the content of the letter that the Tories did not bother to apologise for.
See the full letter here (credit: Laura McCormack)
Begging pensioners
Why are the Tories begging pensioners for cash when they're almost completely bankrolled by mega-rich donors, including the kinds of Russian oligarchs and Putin cronies who can afford to pay £160,000 for a game of tennis with Boris Johnson?
Instead of begging for £52 - £160 per year from pensioners, surely the Tories could just ask one of their hedge fund mates or Russian oligarchs for an extra half million or so and let the pensioners keep their cash.
A Britain fit for the future?
In the opening paragraph of the letter the Tories claim to be "building a Britain that is fit for the future" but the reality is that they're investing less in infrastructure development than any of our economic rivals, meaning we're getting left behind in the global economic race, and that they're actually retarding our future economic potential with their fixation with hard-right austerity dogma.
Brexit
The letter then goes on to brag about what a supposedly great Brexit deal the Tories are securing, but what they don't admit is that their own economic assessments (you know, the ones they spent months trying to hide) found that every form of Brexit will result in an economic downturn.
The Single Market and Customs Union version of Brexit would be the least damaging, but Theresa May already ruled that out under pressure from the right-wing Brextremist faction of her party, meaning the options were facing are two even more damaging versions of Brexit (hard right-wing Brexit & "no deal" chaos).
Stamp Duty
The next bit of Tory bragging is their Stamp Duty cut for first time buyers. They pretend that this is a great thing for first time buyers, but their own evidence said that it's not, and that it actually works as a significant unearned bonus for sellers, paid for at the taxpayers' expense.
Who would have thought that the Tories would try to dress up a taxpayer-funded handout for the rich as a benevolent gift for struggling first-time buyers?
Well, anyone who has been paying the slightest bit of attention for the last 8 years obviously.
The environment
The Tories then resort to bragging about how much they care about the environment, hoping that the recipient is unaware of their ghastly environmental record which includes handing massive tax breaks to fracking companies, ignoring massive local objections to grant fracking licences in beautiful rural locations like Ryedale, trashing the UK solar industry by slashing solar subsidies, and vehemently opposing European Parliament efforts to clamp down on plastic pollution, only to dress the policy up as their own idea when it came to implementation time!
Then there's the fact that they voted down Labour's amendment to their EU Withdrawal Bill that would have prevented them from using Brexit as an excuse to scrap EU derived environmental laws. If they have no intention of scrapping environmental laws, why on earth would they have voted down an amendment to stop them doing it?
Misleading rubbish
The letter then sets about fearmongering about Jeremy Corbyn and Momentum in order to frighten people out of voting Labour at the local elections. This is especially disingenuous given that the Tory party Twitter account has explicitly admitted that local elections are about local issues, not who rules the roost in Westminster.
Outright lies
One of the fearmongering claims about Labour is that they're promising to "take £350 billion from the pockets of hard-working taxpayers".
There's absolutely nothing in the Labour Manifesto "promising" to raise taxes by £350 billion, and in fact it actually pledges to avoid raising income tax for everyone except the top 5% of earners.
If the UK electoral authorities weren't a completely toothless joke these kinds of political lies would be clamped down on hard, but as we saw with the complete inaction on Tory dark ads during the 2017 General Election, the Tories are free to lie with total impunity.
Army of footsoldiers
The letter admits that the Tories see their only hope of beating Labour is by pumping huge amounts of cash into their political campaigns to recruit "an army of footsoldiers".
This plan sounds awfully similar to the plan cooked up by the Tory Chairman Brandon Lewis to hire a troll army of social media propagandists.
The letter openly admits that the Tories are forced to pay people to be activists while Labour's policies are popular enough to attract huge numbers of volunteers willing to do the work for free. Doesn't this tell us everything we need to know?
No credible policies
The letter then goes on to claim that Labour have "no credible policies for improving the lives of people in London".
Since 2010 the Tories have cut £600 million from the London police budget, resulting in the loss of 7,000+ police officers and PCOs. They also have plans to slash another £400 million from the London police budget by 2022.
Labour have a costed plan to reverse these cuts and put more police back on the streets of London in order to help deal with the shocking increase in violent crimes like stabbings, shootings, and acid attacks.
Defeat Socialism
The letter contains a quite extraordinary footnote that proves what a bunch of ideological fanatics the Tories really are. When they promise to "defeat socialism" there's no other way of reading this than a death sentence for the NHS, because it is indisputably one of the finest examples of socialist policy on the planet.
The concept of prioritising health care to those who need it most, rather than those with the largest wallets is an unmistakable example of socialism, so when the Tories openly state that they're on a mission to defeat socialism, make no mistake at all, they're admitting that they hate the NHS and want to see it destroyed.
The only way that sending a letter out to a bunch of pensioners that admits their ideological commitment to wrecking the NHS is if they're so damned arrogant that they assume that the pensioners won't put two and two together and actually realise what the real world implications of "defeat socialism" really are.
Theresa May's signature
Theresa May's signature appears on this letter, which means that she's personally approved this lamentable pack of lies, distortions and distractions, and that she approves of the ideological attack on the NHS that appears in the footnote.
Piss-taking Tories
The fact that the automatic addressee in the Tory mailing software has been set as "Youmustbe Fuckingjoking" strongly suggests that even the Tories responsible for sending out these letters have no faith in what they're doing, and no faith in the absolute bullshit they're being asked to peddle by Theresa May and her propaganda team.
